Canal Boat CruisesThese can be self drive or hotel style and are found in Britain, Holland, France, Germany mainly. They are a very relaxing and enjoyable way of experiencing Europe, quite different to touring by road, you get a different aspect, as you might say ‘behind the hedges‘. Self drive varies from 2 – 10 berth, traditional long barges to modern launches. It is great fun shopping in the local stores and mastering the different languages.
