Trixie Newton – Managing Director

Trixie has travelled worldwide on all sorts of transport from Tramp Steamers, Overland buses, motorhomes to five star cruises and Windjammers. 

Trixie started up the business from home in 1974 and moved into main street in 1976, buying a little book shop and slowly developing the business from there.

She feels extremely fortunate that the business is still flourishing today. This is thanks to many of the staff that have worked with her over the years.

 

John Lyall – Director and Manager

John spent 15 years travelling Europe as a tour guide/cook for a youth adventure company, and knows Europe like the back of his hand.

This also includes Russia and Morocco.  Since joining the company in 1998 John has continued to travel to China, Africa, the Pacific Islands, Australia, Asia and Cruising including a Clipper Ship in the Med and to Club Med in Malaysia.

 

 

 

Tracey Anderson – Senior Consultant

Tracey has been working in the travel industry for 16 years the last 8 or which has been with Trixie Newton’s World Travel.

Tracey has travelled extensively visiting over 30 countries.  Tracey says she has no favourites she likes them all for different reasons. 

More recently she visited Borneo and cruised on Pacific Sun.

 

 

 

Sabine Ebrecht – Senior Consultant

Originally from Germany where she worked in International Travel since 1994, Sabine joined Trixie’s in 2008.

Sabine’s languages include German, English and French and she has travelled widely through most of Europe.  One of her favourite destinations is the Greek Islands with sparkling water and great food.

Sabine has also visited Africa several times including taking safari’s.  She has also visited much of Thailand and travelled extensively throughout Australia.

Sabine has also visited Costa Rica to mention but a few places she has experienced.
